VISION, MISION, AND TARGETS

1.     Vision

Being a higher education institution which is able to provide future professionals, characterized by applied ccience bachelors, who possess national and international qualifications in palm oil and rubber plantations sectors.

2.     Mission

 

a)     Conducting professional higher education process which is knowledge, technology, and culture oriented in order to provide characterized, competent, and adaptive professional human resource in palm oil and rubber sectors.

b)     Maintaining constructive professional relation with plantation industry and community, in order to STIP-AP can play an optimal role in the development of plantation agro industry.

c)     Conducting study, research, and dedication to plantation community in particular and public in general.

d)    Conducting dynamic development of STIP-AP, which is always up to date to the development and demand of plantation industry, in order STIP-AP to be able to a credible higher education institution, both in national and international levels.

 

3.     Targets

·        Orientation of Education Process

1.     The implementation of education management which is in line with National Education System and regulations.

2.     Planning and development of organization quality of  prospective  students, teachers, management system, curriculum, materials, teaching methods, facilities and infrastructures, and the quality of evaluation system.

3.     The achievement of Quality Certification of ISO 9001:2000, in term of  management process of education business organization.

4.     The development of infrastructures, organization, and professionalism.

5.     The improvement of education institution relation with plantation community and companies.

 

·        Orientation of Graduates

1.     Positioning Diploma IV graduates equal to S1 graduates by reinforcing professional and competence image in the palm oil and rubber plantations sectors.

2.     Preparing qualified graduates as a technologist, managers, and entrepreneurs, who are able to take part in the development of plantation agribusiness in Indonesia.

3.     Improving the employment of the STIP-AP graduates in state plantation companies (State Owned Plantation Enterprise), national private companies, foreign private companies, and plantation community in general.

 

STUDY

Five reasons of studying at STIP-AP

1.     STIP-AP is the only DIPLOMA IV Professional Higher Education in Indonesia that focuses on palm oil and rubber plantations sectors of which the graduates are titled Bachelor of an Applied.

2.     STIP-AP is the Plantation Higher Education located in North Sumatera, which is the centre of palm oil and rubber industries in Indonesia.

3.     STIP-AP has been experienced in plantation and has a good relation with State Owned Enterprise and private plantation, and national and abroad educational institutions.

5.     STIP-AP graduates who possess technical and managerial competence are able to manage production unit in plantation companies (both in estate and mill) to meet the demand of a plantation industry.
